Christmas Gift Guide for a Beauty Addict

1. REN Radiance Gift Set: This beautifully presented gift set features REN's multi-award winning Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask. I've wanted to try this product for what feels like forever, but never got around to it. The mask claims reduce the appearance of fine lines and dramatically improve skin tone. The gift set also contains the Purifying Micro Polish Cleanser, which purifies pores and gently exfoliates; the silicone-free Satin Perfection BB Cream; and Resurfacing AHA Concentrate, which promises to leave skin brighter, healthier and visibly radiant. A great skincare set!

Monday Wishlist #41 / Topshop

1. Mesh Sleeve Bomber Jacket: I've been eyeing up bomber jackets for a long time now, but didn't really know how I'd style one. Most of the ones I'd seen were just too sporty for my style. Until I saw this one. The sheer, embellished sleeves give it more of a feminine look, meaning it would fit perfectly into my wardrobe. I'd wear t over anything from jeans and tshirt, to a bodycon dress for a night out.

2. Clean Cut Ribbed Knitted Dress: I don't know why, but I'm really into ribbed clothing at the minute. This khaki coloured dress would look great with either a pair of heeled ankle boots, or some over knee boots.

3. Ribbed Cropped Vest: Another ribbed item, told you I'm really into it at the moment. The oxblood colour is perfect for this time of year. It would look great with a faux leather pencil skirt for a night out.

4. KLIPPER Slippers: I love leopard print. I used to have a pair of ballet pumps years ago that I wore to death. I like the slightly masculine twist this pair of slipper shoes have. I think they'd look great with a 60's style shift dress.

Tonight it was my local town's annual Christmas Lights Parade. My besties and I headed down to see the parade and get in the festive spirit. I thought I'd share a some photographs I took...

The Body Shop Rainforest Moisture Hair Butter

I was recently at The Body Shop party, and bought a few bits and pieces. The Rainforest Moisture Hair Butter being one of them. I'm not going to lie, I bought it basically because it smells amazinggggg!! To me, the scent is just like playdoh, and I love it. I could sniff it all day!

Wearing Orange

I bought this gorgeous jumper dress with the intentions of wearing it to the Company Bloggers Style the High Street event I attended the other week. I ended up going for a completely different outfit on the night, though!

My Most Worn Jewellery

Rings = New Look/Necklace = New Look/Watch = Micheal Kors

When it comes to jewellery, I like to keep it simple. I like the idea of wearing jewellery everyday, layering up bracelets, choosing the right earrings to go with my outfit, and I have a huge collection of statement necklaces. Reality is that most days my watch is the only piece of jewellery I wear.

My favourite Lip & Cheek Combos

Lip & Blush combinations

I'm a lip product addict. If you read my blog regularly, you'll know this from the amount of lip product related posts I write. Today I thought I'd do something a bit different, but still including some of my favourite lippies.  Here are my top four lip and cheek combos...

New Look Pure Colour Makeup Haul // Lipstick, Lip Liner & Eye Brow Pencil

New Look Makeup Haul

As most of you will know, I work for New Look and get great staff discount. I'm also a make-up addict. Add into that mix a brand new make-up line, and you know that I just had to try out a few bits and bobs.

This is just a haul, I haven't really tried out these products yet, but I thought I'd give you my first impressions...

The only Nail Polish that doesn't chip on me...

Formula X Nail Polish

The Formula X nail polishes have been one of those products this year that have received so much hype on YouTube/Blogs. There's something about not being able to get your hands on a product that makes you want it more, isn't there?

Autumnal Atec

I bought this dress from New Look with the intention of wearing it with tan sandals in Rome, which I did. Now the weathers turned, and it's certainly not warm enough for sandals, I'm going to be wearing it with my tan over the boots instead.

The shape of this dress is not the most flattering on me. I have to add a thin belt to my waist, and then it is flattering!

My favourite Nude Lip Pencil // MAC's Dervish Lip Liner

Way back in July, I had a makeover at MAC, and bought a few bits and pieces. You can read about my experience here. One of the products I bought, which had turned out to be a favourite, was the lip pencil in Dervish.

Monday Wishlist #39

1. River Island Leather Look Faux Fur Jacket: River Island are always spot on when it comes to coats and jackets. This beauty is no exception. Leather and cosy fur (both fake), what more could you want in your autumn jacket? A longer length jacket is great for me as it's more flattering, but it is also warmer than a shorter leather jacket.

2. Topshop Linear Stripe Overlay Dress: Khaki is one of my favourite colours come autumn. I like that this dress is fitted, as I find that style suits me better than other silhouettes. The layered top gives it a more casual look though. The three quarter rolled sleeves also add to the casualness.

3. New Look Black Caged Plimsolls: I know it's probably going to be far too cold very soon to even wear these, but they're so cute! They's be perfect to wear them for work, with almost anything. Skinny jeans and a jumper, or a dress.

4. Topshop Bonded Borg Boxy Gilet: Faux fur is, of course, always popular this time of year. This particular year though, it's all about teddy bear fur. This gilet would be the perfect snuggly finishing touch to any outfit.

Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Endless Purple

I'd heard a lot about the Sephora Cream Lip Stains, so when I realised I'd be able to schedule a trip to Sephora while I was in Rome at the end of September, I knew I would have to pick one up to try. I wish I'd bought more now!

Remember Remember the 5th November

 Hey everyone,

Since it's Guy Fawkes today, I thought I'd share some snaps from the fireworks display I went to on Saturday night. I normally head over to a display on the actual night of Guy Fawkes, but I'm working tonight, so was Saturday or nothing!

Here are the photos from the night...

Monday Wishlist #38

1. New Look Striped Ribbed Bodycon Dress: Bodycon dresses like this are perfect for layering in the cooler months. Add a pair of tights, some knee high boots and a chunky cardigan, and you've got a great cosy outfit.

2. Miss Selfridge Black Culottes: Culottes have been on the fashion periphery for a little while now, with brave fashionistas donning them and looking super cool. I could never wear a 'normal' pair of culottes ‐ they'd just be far too long! These, however, are from the petite section, so would be the perfect length on me! I'd wear these with a fitted top and a pair of pointed stilettos.

3. Topshop Butterflies Mini Skirt: I don't know what it is, but I really like anything with an insect print on it. Butterflies are no exception, as long as they're not 'girlie' butterflies! Any plain top, in any of the colours featured in the butterflies, would look good with this top.

4. New Look Premium Leather Contrast Pointed Shoes: I can't decided if these shoes are amazing, or ugly? Most of my friends would say ugly, but I really like them. I like how they're a cross between a boot and shoe, with a small chunky heel. You could wear these shoes with any kind of outfit, dresses with tights, or skinny jeans with the hems folded up.
