The Kylie Jenner Lip Menu

If you don't know who Kylie Jenner is, then you've been living under a rock. The 'Kylie Jenner lip' is what every make-up obsessed girl is craving right now. Just look at the fact that MAC's Velvet Teddy lipstick and lip pencils in Soar and Whirl ‐ all colours Kylie is rumoured to wear ‐ are constantly out of stock to show how popular the look is. I've always been a fan of the nude/brown/rose toned lipstick. I find they really suit my skin tone. I thought I'd share with you the lipsticks from my collection which fit into this category. Or the Kylie Jenner Lip Menu, if you will.

Grey/Black

It's been a little while since I've posted an outfit, but I'm back! In the summer I started photographing my outfits outside, and I loved the results! My problem is that I don't have any decent outdoor space around my house to take photographs, so I have to go down to my aunts house, which of course means packing everything up and carrying it down. While the weather has been awful, I just haven't had the chance to do this. Back to indoor outfits!

Monday Wishlist #50

1. New Look Grey Slouch Roll Neck Jumper: This jumper needs to be mine! I think it would be perfect with leggings for a casual look, or with a black bodycon skirt and opaque tights for a smarter look!

2. River Island Grey Sleeveless Knitted Tunic: Yes I know, another grey knitted item. I think this one would look great layered over a crisp white shirt for a smarter look. And when the weather is warm enough for bare arms, it will look great with denim shorts and some plimsoles.

3. ASOS Embossed Leather Floppy Shopper: As all I want to be wearing is black and grey at the minute, a splash of mint green is perfect for stopping an outfit from becoming too dull. I like a bigger bag, so I can throw everything in it, so this one would be perfect!

4. New Look Black Croc Pointed Loafers: I've been looking for a good pair of flat black loafers, and I've fallen in love with this pair. The pointed toe makes them more flattering, and the croc skin effect gives them a more luxe feel.

Brunch at Coquet Tea Rooms | Amble

On Tuesday my friend and I decided to head off for some brunch since we both had the morning off. We settled on going to the Coquet Tea Rooms in Amble, Northumberland, which is only a few minutes walk from where I live.

1. Miss Selfridge Rust Turn Up Cable Beanie: It's so cold at the minute, which means wearing a beanie hat is a must for me! I love the warm, rust colour of this cable knit beanie. It would look great with my khaki parka.

Afternoon Tea at The Running Fox Bakery

Having afternoon tea is something I've always wanted to do, but never got around to it. When my friend suggested we headed over to The Running Fox Bakery, Felton, Northumberland, I jumped at the chance.

1&2. Topshop Hey Loungewear Sweater & Turn‐up Loungewear Shorts: I don't know why, but I really love grey loungewear. Especially when it has a touch of pink. As comfy as pyjamas, but OK to wear at lunch time, loungewear is perfect for those days when you can't be bothered with actual clothes!

3. River Island Black Printed 93 Tank Top: This type of sportswear with logos are all over the place at the minute. The sports luxe trend comes back around every year, and this year is no exception. This tank top will easily slip into my wardrobe. I'd wear with a pair black skinny jeans and my monochrome trainers for a casual look. I think this particular top would also look cool with a leather mini skirt and a pair of pointed heels, though.

4. River Island Nude Leather Peep Toe Zip Trim Heels: I'm always on the hunt for the perfect pair of nude shoes with a small heel, that I can wear both during the day and at night, too. These would be perfect! It's far too cold to wear them during the day now, but as soon as spring comes they'll be perfect!

5. New Look Stone Draped Trench Coat: I need this trench coat in my life. I'm not normally a big fan, but I think this one is beautiful. I like how it has a collar, but it is much less structured than most others I've seen, without being a waterfall style. This would be such a classic piece to have in your wardrobe, that will never go out of style! I have a few things to return to New Look, so I think I might exchange them for this beaut.

1. Topshop Lace Insert Flippy Dress: A skater dress is a great basic to have in your wardrobe for days when you want to look put together but can't really be bothered. The lace panelling makes it a little less basic. Wear with literally any type of footwear: Boots; Brogues; Heels; Sandals.

Best of 2014: Lips

And now for the final 'Best of 2014', it has to be lip products, didn't it?! Lipstick is definitely my favourite item of make-up, I just don't feel dressed without a bit of lippie on! Here are my four favourite lip products of 2014...

Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Standout > The texture of this lip crayon is amazing. It glides on easily without dragging, and the pencil shape makes it super easy to be precise, although mine has worn down quite a lot already. I've chosen this colour as one of my favourites as the lasting power makes this the perfect day time red lip for me. It's not quite a bright red, it's a slighter darker than that, but I still wore it all year round.
