MAC Craving & Urban Decay Naked Basics 2

MAC Craving has quickly became one of my favourite colours. It's a shade I wear on an everyday basis, but it also has enough colour to it for nights out, too. MAC Craving is described as a 'burst of plum' and has an amplified finish. This means that it is somewhere in between matte and slightly glossy, making it comfortable on the lips.

Outfit | The Pinafore Dress

This was actually my Christmas Day outfit, and I loved it so much I've worn it a few times since. I was a little worried that I'd look even younger than I already do in a pinafore dress, but I think I've managed to style it so that I don't.

Monday Wishlist #54

1. New Look Paisley Print Cami: If you saw last weeks wishlist, then you'll know I'm really into the 70's trend right now. Paisley print fits nicely into that trend, and this cami will look fab with a pair of flared jeans and some wooden wedges.

2. New Look Grey Heavy Ribbed Long Sleeved Top: I imagine wearing this long sleeved top in the summer with a pair of ripped denim shorts and white Converse when it's actually warm enough to wear shorts!

3. ASOS Education Leather Ankle Boots: I have lots and lots of ankle boots, but not a khaki pair. These boots would look so good with a pair of blue wash skinny jeans and a white t-shirt. Adding a chunky necklace would finish it off nicely.

4. River Island Stripe Paris Print Tee: I'm off to Disneyland Paris next week, eeeek! This top would be perfect to wear while I'm there, although I'm pretty sure it's going to be far too cold to be walking around in just a t-shirt!

Life | Bedroom Details

Today I thought I'd share with you a few little details from my bedroom. I decorated it with a 'shabby chic' style, choosing white accessories. I really want to get white wardrobe and chest of drawers, but for now, here's my little space...

Outfit | Beige & Leopard Print

I bought these boots just before Christmas. I have a similar pair of ankle boots from River Island I got in the sale about four years ago. The difference between them is that my River Island pair have leopard print on the front and black at the back, and they're wedges, rather than having a chunky heel. I love these boots as from the front they look like a simple pair of black boots, and they're not too high, either.

Monday Wishlist #53

Can you tell I'm really into the 70's trend this week?!

1. New Look Paisley Print Long Sleeve Playsuit: A long sleeve playsuit is perfect for this time of year. Wear with opaque tights and boots, throw on a tan fedora and you're ready to go.

2. Miss Selfridge Suede Popper Skirt: I absolutely love this suede skirt. Wear with beige, black, or even burgundy or teal. A perfect outfit would be this skirt, a black roll neck jumper, opaque tights and a pair of over the knee boots.

3. Miss Selfridge Tan High Sandals: You can't get more 70's than a pair of tan and wooden heels. These sandals are great for summer as they'll go with almost any outfit, acting as a neutral. Think of them as the summer version of your black heels. Staples. They would look amazing with a floaty white dress on a sunny day.

4. Topshop Ribbed High Neck Top: Ribbed vest tops are all over the high street right now, but this is a bit more of an unusual colour. The rusty brown shade is normally something we see around autumn, not coming into spring. With the 70's being a huge trend this season though, this vest would be a great item to add to your wardrobe as it will go with so many skirts and flared trousers/jeans that you will be wearing this spring.

MAC Margin | Cheeks & Eyes

I've been a fan of MAC's Margin powder blush for a long time now, but just recently I've found a new way of wearing it...

As I have blue eyes, warm, copper tones always look great. That's why I decided to give Margin a go on my eyes. I used a Sigma blending brush to buff the blush all over my lids and under my eyes. I needed a little definition so I used a black kohl eye liner along my top and bottom lashline and buffed it into the blush, making a cat eye shape.

Outfit | Mint & Stripes

At this time of year, when it's still freezing outside but the shops are full of new spring collections, I always crave fresh pastels shades. So out comes this gorgeous mint green cardigan.

Valentine's Day with Quiz Clothing

Valentine's Day is fast approaching, and as of yet, I have no plans! Still, I thought I'd share with you what I may be doing with my best friends on Valentine's Day, and what I'd like to wear....

My favourite thing to do at the minute is to go out for brunch with my bestie. Poached eggs on toast from the Coquet Tea Rooms in Amble are the nicest I've had (full post here). Chatting over a cuppa is the perfect way to spend an hour or son on Valentine's Day with friends.

Four Hairstyles for a Short Bob

I've been growing out my hair from a very short pixie crop for around 18 months months now. It's been tough, and there's been so many times that I've wanted to chop it all off again! Now though, my hair is *almost* exactly how I want it. Now that it is at a length where I can actually do different styles with it, I thought I'd share my four favourite hairstyles with you...

Outfit | Oversized Grey

If you saw this Monday Wishlist, and this Instagram post, then you'll know that I ordered this gorgeous jumper and pair of shoes from New Look last week. I bought this jumper in a small, and it is still very big on me, so be aware if you're going to order one that they come up big!

Monday Wishlist #51

1. Topshop Contrast Trim Cropped Tee: This tee is simple, yet has a sporty edge to it. Perfect with a pair of high waisted joggers. I'd wear this top with anything really; High waisted jeans, skirts. It's basic enough that it will go with most things, but isn't boring.

2. Miss Selfridge Floral Cami Dress: I love the combination of cobalt blue and green. The tropical print gives it a summery feel, but I'd wear it any time. Pairing it with black accessories gives it a bit more of a wintery feel. Come summer, I'd wear with nude accessories.

3. Topshop Leather and Suede Shopper: The perfect everyday bag for me is black, and around medium sized. I like to be able to throw everything in it, whether that be just my purse and phone, or sometimes an umbrella, hat, scarf, maybe even my lunch! The different textures makes this bag a little different, and I really like the length of the straps too.

4. River Island Black Chunky Strappy Sandals: Black strappy sandals go with almost anything; dresses, skinny jeans etc. I don't like a stiletto heel though, I just can't walk in them. That's why this pair are perfect for me. The straps are still delicate, yet the heel is chunky enough to be comfortable. I'd be able to dance all night in these!
