Monday Wishlist #70 | River Island

1. Gold Multi Strap Slider Sandal: Sliders were the 'it' shoe last summer, and seems they've comeback round this year. I didn't get a pair last year, but I think I might invest in these beauties this summer. Gold and black is such a good combination, as the black makes them just a touch smarter.

2. Green Vitamin Sea Print T-Shirt: How I feel right now, looking out the living room window at the rain when it's meant to be summer. Where did the sun go!? I'm craving a beach holiday this year but unfortunately I don't think it's going to happen!

3. Cream Scarf Print Bardot Dress: Bardot-style, off-the-shoulder dresses seem to be everywhere right now, and I love them. I especially like the print on this dress. It would look great with either black or tan sandals. Add some turquoise jewellery for a festival-vibe.

4. Black Leather Slouchy Chain Bag: I love the shape of this bag. It has the same feel as my Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac, with the chain straps, but is a lot more practical. I want a bag I can throw my camera and planner into. This would be perfect.

Outfit | Duster Jacket x Ripped Denim

This is one of my go-to outfits. I love the colours together, and it is so easy to throw on, but looks put-together.

Las Iguanas & the #BGOMeetUp

A week or so ago I headed over to Newcastle to meet my blogging buddies Rachel, Beca and Rhian. As we'd been invited to the #bgomeetup later that afternoon we had decided to make a day off it with food, cocktails and shopping.

After a quick visit to our local MAC counter and my first ever browse of Space NK, we headed over to Las Iguanas to sample their lunch time menu.

The cocktails were 2-4-1, so obviously we indulged in a couple! I chose the Brazilian Bikini-Tini and then the Pink Passionfruit. Both were delicious.

Outfit | Palazzo Pants

I've wanted a pair of palazzo pants for years. No exaggeration. I've never found the right pair though. I tried on some last year in New Look but they made me look huge! The cut just wasn't right on me.

While shopping with my Mam in Edinburgh last month, I spotted this pair and decided to try them on. I wasn't sure how they would look, but when I put them on I loved them! The length is great. I can wear them with heels

Monday Wishlist #69

1. Motel Oyster Slip Dress in Botanical Ivory: This print is amazing, isn't it!? I'd have a wall in my room decorated with this print if I could. Sandals and a denim jacket would make this dress perfect for a sunny day, or simply add your favourite heels for a night out,

2. River Island Grey Geometric Print Longline Top: I'd wear this top with white skinny jeans and a pair of black barely-there sandals for a minimal evening out look. gorgeous.

3. Topshop 70's Chevron Mini Skirt: This skirt will look perfect with a plain white t-shirt tucked in, or with a rust-coloured top to add to the 70's feel.

4. ASOS Edgeware Cut Out Ankle Boots: I love ankle boots, But I only ever wear them with jeans or with a pair of tights. This means that wearing lighter coloured boots can be tricky, as they just don't look so good with black tights. The cut outs in these boots will be much more flattering on my short legs than your average ankle boots. The nude shade will look great in the summer, too.

#BloggersPearJoy | Vintage Pin-Up Photoshoot

A few weeks ago I was contacted by my good friend Rachel, who wanted to know if I'd be interested in taking part in a vintage pin-up themed photoshoot with a local photographer. Of course I was! I sent off my blog stats and didn't think much about it. But low and behold, along with three other NE bloggers; Rachel, Alice and Kathryn, I was chosen to taken part in the shoot. How exciting!?

So of I went last Sunday to be transformed into a Vintage babe. It was so much fun. The stylist, Nichola, had picked out two perfect outfits for me. They were exactly what I would have picked out for myself. Liam from SalonLRM gave me the coolest hairstyle ever. I actually visited my Grandma on Monday and she showed my photographs of her wearing a very similar hairstyle back in the late 50's!

Next up was make-up time. Emily did an amazing job, I absolutely loved how she made my lips look! All the models had the classic pin-up make-up look - black winged liner, lots of lashes and a matte red lip. Absolutely gorgeous, if I do say so myself.

Outfit | Red Florals

This has got to be my most worn dress. And my most worn jacket too, actually. It just happens that I love how they look together.

Let's start with the dress. The shape is just perfect. The waistline sits at exactly the smallest part of my waist, accentuating my shape, and the wrap style is super flattering, too. I'm in love with the print. The gorgeous orangey red tone is one of my favourite colours, and the blue tonal print works perfectly with it.
