Not Another Slogan Tee | Isn't it funny how trends work?

Slogan tees. They're everywhere, aren't they? Especially those with red writing emblazoned across the chest. It's funny how trends work. Not that long ago I just wasn't into t-shirts, they weren't really my style. But now? Now I have to stop myself from buying yet another grey t-shirt with a red slogan across the chest. Who decides what's going to be in fashion? And why do we all jump on the bandwagon so quickly?

The Essentials I'll be Taking to Kendal Calling Festival

When this post goes live, I'll be getting sorted to drive over to Kendal for Kendal Calling Festival with my best friend and her son. As I'm writing this, I'm listening to a playlist I put together on Spotify with all the artists I'm excited to see - you can check that out here. As I was packing up my bag, I thought I'd put together a post about the Festival Essentials I'll be taking with me. So here they are...

Clean Skincare | Peachy Fox London

You've heard of clean eating, but let's talk about clean skincare... Similar to the concept of clean eating, clean skincare is basically minimally processed products that don't contain any harmful additives. Peachy Fox London's products are all clean 'lovingly crafted natural and organic products for your skin'. I have rather sensitive skin, any product which doesn't contain any nasties that are going to irritate it further is going to get a big thumbs up from me.

Summer Nights In | ASDA Tapas

After moving into our own flat a month or so ago, deciding what to have for dinner each night is top of the agenda. At the weekend we like to have something nice, Friday night has become a bit of a steak night for us. While food shopping in ASDA I spotted a new selection of tapas that was on offer for three dishes for £5, so we decided to try some for a summer Saturday night in. As it was a Saturday, we washed it all down with a jug (or two) of Mojito - I'll share the recipe at some point if you're interested?

The Pink Maxi Dress Of My Dreams

Millennial pink. Love it or hate it, it's everywhere right now. I happen to love pink. Not a soft baby pink, or a bright, hot pink, but that perfect darker blush pink that's everywhere right now. I'd been eyeing up this River Island dress in that perfect shade for weeks, but everytime I went to order it, it happened to be out of stock on my size. Boooooo :(
Obviously, I eventually managed to get this beauty on ASOS.com. It was reduced to only £12 on the River Island website, but sold out straight away. I paid full price for it as I wanted it so much!

Primark Beauty - Is It Actually Any Good?

I've been a Primark fan for years and years, but it took me a long time before I decided to give their P.S Beauty range a go. Recently I've discovered I should have given it a go a long time ago. Here's why...

I first tried out the Micellar Cleansing Water after reading that it was great for removing make-up. I love this product so much! It is soooo much better than the Garnier Micellar Water. I used to use the Garnier version religiously, but I attempted to take my make-up off with it when I stayed at my Mam's house a few week ago and I had to really rub at my skin to remove all my make-up, and even then it wasn't all gone. The Primark version makes removing make-up effortless. I pour some onto a cotton pad and take off all my make-up, normally needing two cotton pads if I have eye make-up on, too. At only £2, this is my favourite skincare find in a long time!
