Five Minute Face

I think I may have talked about a 'five minute face' a few years ago, but recently I've been doing very minimal make-up in the morning both to save time and because I just don't need a full face of make-up. I've been skipping a foundation and just going with a bit of concealer where I need it. Here are the products I've been using everything day for the past three months or so.

After I've cleansed and moisturised my skin I use some concealer under my eyes and then anywhere else I need a bit of coverage and evening out. Generally this will be my chin, sizes of my nose and a little bit on my forehead. I blend it out with my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. It takes me about one minute to blend it out, and the Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer* gives me enough coverage in the places that I need, while not looking cakey or dry. To add a little more coverage all over, and to even things out a bit, I always use the MAC Mineralise Skinfinish Natural. This is a HG product for me. I love how it makes my skin look. Even if my skin isn't looking it's best this stuff makes it look good!
I only apply one product to my cheeks in my five minute face routine and that is Benefit's Coralista blush. A grgoeous - you guessed it - coral blush with a hint of shimmer, I find that it brightens up my face and I don't need any highligter with it.

Even though I've had my brows microbladed (read about my experience here) I still like to fill them in with the L'Oreal Paradise Brow Pomade. I like my brows to be darker than they are naturally, but I could easily skip this step as the shape is fab now. Having them microbladed means it takes me about a minute to fill my brows in, rather than the five minutes or so before. I don't have to take my time measuring out where the hairs should be as I already have 'hairs' there now I can follow. It's amazing. A little bit of Bourjois' Push Up Volume Glamour Mascara* is all I do when it comes to eyes. It gives lots of volume and length so I don't feel like I need to define my eyes with eyeliner.

As a finishing touch, I'll grab whatever lipstick I fancy that day. I love the Rimmel The Only 1 Lipstick in Naughty Nude for an easy daytime look. It feels moisturising on the lips doesn't need a lipliner with it. It doesn't look odd when it starts to wear off either, so great for days when you can't be bothered don't have time to top-up your make-up.

What are your make-up essentials for a five minute face?
