Brightening Shampoo That Actually Works! | Noughty Haircare Blondie Locks

I've been a blondie for a good few years now, therefore I'm always on the hunt for hair products that are going to help keep that just left the salon brightness in my hair. I've already shared the products that help keep my blonde hair cool toned, so today I thought I'd let you in on how I keep my hair looking bright and fresh, even when it's been weeks since I was last at the salon!

So what is my secret, I hear you say? Blondie Locks Shampoo and Conditioner from a brand that is totally new to me, Noughty Haircare. An all-natural brand, their products contain no nasties like silicone, sulphates or parabens. The products are 97% natural, which is amazing. No one wants to be using anything that could be harmful to our hair, health or the environment in the long run, right?
Blondie Locks Shampoo and Conditioner is specially designed to help brighten and enhance blonde hair, the natural way. They contain lemon and chamomile, which are both renowned for helping to lighten hair.

I tend to use these products once a week, but no more. I think if I was to use them every time I washed my hair it would dry it out a little due to the nature of the ingredients. Plus, they work so well at brightening my hair that I really don't need to use them more than once a week.

The first time I shampooed and conditioned my hair with these products the scent really reminded me of another brand I've used in the past, but I just couldn't put my finger on it. Now I remember, though. It's Lee Stafford's Hair Growth range. I didn't really like the scent of that range, but the Noughty Haircare isn't as strong, and for some reason I much prefer it.

Like with any product designed to brighten blonde hair, the shampoo does leave my hair feeling slightly dry. As soon as I apply the conditioner it feels smooth and nourished, so I always use the two products together.

There's a product for lots of different hair types from Noughty Haircare, from frizzy or fine, to curly, and there's even a cleansing conditioner than I fancy trying out, too. If you're on the lookout for a natural haircare brand I'd recomend trying out Noughty. You can purchase their products from many places, including Superdrug and Ocado, ranging from £6.99 to £8.99, so it's not going to break the bank.
